Canada Post confirms that one of its employees in St. John’s has tested presumptive positive for COVID-19.
Employees at the Kenmount Road main postal station have been sent home to await further direction.
Canada Post is working with public health officials to provide assistance and is working to ensure their employees and the community at large is safe.
Mail and parcels were not delivered in the St. John’s and Mount Pearl areas today.
