117 passengers on the Kamutik W were potentially exposed to COVID-19 after individuals on board did not declare they had returned from international travel.
Liberal MP representing Labrador, Yvonne Jones, says those who are not following government measures, like the ones who boarded the ferry, are putting others at risk.
After the crew discovered those individuals had not declared their travel history, they were confined to a cabin for the rest of the trip.
The Department of Health is now taking over the situation and boarding the vessel.
