One of the 102 cases of COVID-19 now meets the criteria for recovery, but how long does it take to recover from the novel coronavirus?
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says that it depends on several factors.
She says for most people the disease is mild, meaning you could recover in a week or so. For others, including those with more severe illness or underlying medical conditions, that could be much longer.
For those admitted to ICU, Fitzgerald says, the recovery “could be quite a long time.”
