Newfoundland and Labrador has the second highest infection rate of COVID-19 in the country.
That’s according to Premier Dwight Ball at yesterday’s media briefing.
He says that is a somber reality.
We have the highest rate per 100,000 people next only to Quebec. In terms of our response, he notes that we “cannot let up.”
As of yesterday, Newfoundland and Labrador had 120 cases of COVID-19. Quebec, which has a much larger population, had well over 2,400 confirmed cases.
