Even though Newfoundland Growlers play-by-play commentator Chris Ballard won’t be the soundtrack to another Kelly Cup championship victory this year, his excitement can still be heard cheering on Growlers fans.
Fans of the Growlers Facebook page were given the chance to submit a name earlier today, with Ballard doing a custom goal call for that person.
In total, Ballard did custom audio pieces for 50 fans.
The organization says Ballard will be doing more special play-by-play for Growlers faithful in the future as part of an effort encouraging people to stay at home.
