The Water Street construction project between Ayre’s Cove and Clift’s Baird’s Cove will go ahead as scheduled starting Monday.

The City of St. John’s says occupational health and safety measures will be implemented based on the latest guidelines recommended for COVID-19.

Property and business owners in the construction area with questions or concerns can contact the Water Street Business Liaison.

A traffic detour will begin on Monday and a section of Water Street (Bishop’s Cove to Clift’s Baird’s Cove) will be converted to one-way for eastbound traffic.
