Another sign of community support for those working on the frontline. First responders in the Carbonear area held a parade to show their appreciation for healthcare workers at the Carbonear General Hospital.
Sirens echoed through the town on Friday afternoon as members of the Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department, RCMP, and local paramedics brought their vehicles out by the dozens to take a tour past the hospital.
Carbonear Town Councillor Danielle Doyle shared a video of the parade.
Yesterday, the Carbonear Fire Department held its own parade to recognize essential employees who continue to respond to work during the pandemic.
Fire Chief Brent Sweeney offered thanks for their dedication.
