The Premier says residents must be mindful when it comes to shutting down travel to Labrador, as essential services to remote communities need to continue.
The Innu Nation made an urgent plea to the Premier and Prime Minister to place strict travel restrictions on Labrador.

The Premier says simply shutting down air service is not possible as it would greatly impact the delivery of essential services. He says social workers who work with children in care are just one example of these services that need to continue.
Ball says he is working with indigenous groups and the Combined Councils of Labrador to ensure that the government can provide safe services.
The Premier says it comes down to travelling only when essential. He says there is currently limited air traffic that will go into Labrador and travel is being monitored.
