Sherry Gambin-Walsh says she will continue to work for her district as the member of the House of Assembly for Placentia-St. Mary’s.

This after Gambin-Walsh was removed from cabinet on Saturday afternoon for allegedly leaking confidential government information.

In a post to Facebook, Gambin-Walsh says she was informed by RCMP on Friday that she was the subject of an allegation, she informed Ball and agreed to leave cabinet.

She stated that she will maintain her innocence publicly.

Gambin-Walsh says she will not make any further comments on the situation.
