The Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador has updated COVID-19 preventative measures.
The court will grant time extensions for the filing of documents for non-urgent matters when normal operations resume.
It is also extending all periods contained in the Rules of the Supreme Court that require or authorize a person to “do or abstain from doing an act in a proceeding from March 18th onwards.”
That does not apply to filing deadlines set out in other legislation.
