The Marine Institute is doing its part to help first responders.
Nitrile gloves and 90 firefighting suits have been provided to the St. John’s Regional Fire Department by the Marine Institute to allow them to manage more calls and equipment cleanings.
Marine Institute made the announcement Wednesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the Newfoundland Offshore Industries Association is applauding the work of member companies in doing their part to help health care workers during the current pandemic.
