A crew member on the Beaumont Hamel, one of the Bell Island ferries, is awaiting test results after they developed symptoms of COVID-19.

The crew is self-isolating.

Government says if the crew member tests positive for the virus, public health will conduct contact tracing.

In the meantime, the ferry was scheduled to come out of service today for maintenance so the Legionnaire has returned to service the Bell Island run.
