Canada Post is reminding customers to give postal workers more than two-metres of space when you see them at the door, the community mailbox or your apartment mailroom.
Canada Post says letter carriers are working hard to deliver as much mail as is safely possible after a week-long shut down at the mail sorting station in St. John’s due to an identified case of COVID-19.
Approaching postal workers defies social distancing and slows down delivery.
Instead, give them a wide berth, a smile and a wave.
We understand the important role the postal service plays during these difficult times. Our priority remains the health and safety of our employees and Canadians. Learn more at https://t.co/E4dK3wQ7RL pic.twitter.com/njR6hRsuvS
