A 65-year-old man is the third person in this province to succumb to COVID-19.
It is believed that the man became infected after attending a wake at Caul’s Funeral Home.
The Department of Health and Community Services did not identify the victim or his place of residence but said that he had underlying health issues.
People who live in the area were surprised that he died as he appeared to be a healthy man, recently seen helping out on a church improvement project not long after the Caul’s funeral.
A 78-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman, each of whom had other health issues, were the first two deaths.
