RNC is investigating an armed robbery at Lawton’s on Gleneyre Street in St. John’s.

Last Wednesday just before 2 p.m. a man with a weapon approached the pharmacy counter and demanded narcotics. The man took the medication in a duffle bag and fled the store on foot.

CCTV footage from a nearby business showed the suspect exiting a black Dodge RAM 1500 pickup truck in the Fall River Plaza parking lot on Torbay Road and was seen returning to the vehicle after the incident.

The man was wearing a blue mask over his face, a grey hoodie, blue jeans and blue sneakers.
