The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is looking for thee suspects following an armed robbery in St. John’s
Police were called to a convenience store in the centre city area around midnight.
They say two men entered the store with an edged weapon and demanded cash. A third man stayed outside the store. All three suspects fled the scene on foot.
The store attendant sustained minor injuries during the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
This is the second armed robbery in the metro area in the last week.
Last Wednesday a man used a weapon to rob a quantity of narcotics from the Lawtons on Gleneyre Street. Police are currently seeking information in that matter.
