Conception Bay South is going to review the recycling issue weekly but, for now, the program remains on hold.
Other municipalities in the region are going with some remnants of a recycling program, but CBS is concerned about what could be a high rate of COVID-19 infection in the town. Thirty people have tested positive and many are awaiting results.
Mayor Terry French knows the bottles and cans are piling up but he says their limited supply of PPE has to be reserved for other services.
