The COVID-19 pandemic has posed an extra strain and challenges on organizations who take care of local communities.

Ragmaw Design House had plans for 2020 to make a donation to Choices for Youth.

CEO of Ragmaw, Megan Jackman says they did not have a date set for the cheque presentation but with all that is going on, it seemed like now is the best time.

She says their business has been successful thanks to the customer base who continue to be supportive on a daily basis through the pandemic and she wanted to celebrate the hard work that goes into making every single bag they make.

This past week, they donated $10,000 to Choices for Youth because they are passionate about young people and the work they can do when they are in an encouraging environment.

Jackman says the organization fosters all kinds of good programming for youth in our communities.

Choices for Youth will use the funds to provide social support for youth for measurable outcomes.
