A little girl, whose sorrowful reaction to not going to Sobeys went viral, has been given gifts by the company to make up for it.
On April 4, Janessa Hand posted a video of her daughter, Lucy, being brought to tears because she wanted to go to Sobeys, but was told by her mom they couldn’t.
In another Facebook post yesterday, Hand revealed that the company sent the family a letter, gift card, and a Sobeys apron for Lucy.
She says the whole family was excited to receive the surprise.
