Three people—including a 12-year-old child—have been located after being reported overdue on a snowmobile trip in Labrador.
An extensive search was launched after two men, ages 46 and 20, and a 12-year-old child traveling on two snowmobiles were reported overdue after failing to return from a trip to Gabbro Lake on Wednesday.
RNC were assisted in the search by Labrador West and Churchill Falls Ground Search and Rescue as well as a Cormorant from Joint Task Force in Goose Bay.
RNC say the trio was located by helicopter around 3:50 this afternoon local time. All three have been transported to Churchill Falls and are reported in good health.
