A traffic complaint in the Bay Roberts area has resulted in the arrest of a St. John’s pair on outstanding warrants.
RCMP received the call around 8:00 Tuesday evening and when they pulled the vehicle over discovered that the driver and passenger, a 31-year-old man and 25-year-old woman, were wanted on outstanding warrants.
The woman was wanted for failing to appear in St. John’s court on theft-related charges while the man was wanted for mischief-related charges in the Stephenville area.
The pair was held in custody pending a court appearance.
