A broadcast in support of frontline workers during COVID-19 is kicking off this weekend.
The previously announced Stronger Together has been extended to a 90 minute broadcast for tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. NL time.
The show will support local food banks Canada-wide through Food Banks Canada as they face the impacts of the pandemic.
There will be a mixture of music and message throughout the show featuring homegrown artists, activists, actors and athletes including the Arkells, Bryan Adams, Celine Dion and Shania Twain.
You’ll be able to hear the entire broadcast on 590 VOCM.
One more day! Tomorrow at 6:30 PM EDT, join Canada's brightest stars to salute the front line workers caring for the sick during the COVID-19 pandemic. #FrontlineWorkers #StrongerTogether #TousEnsemble pic.twitter.com/hKZKe2Ki6b
