The investigation continues into an allegation of breach of cabinet confidence against a former provincial cabinet minister.
RCMP are saying very little about the ongoing investigation at this time.
Former Service NL Minister Sherry Gambin-Walsh left cabinet earlier this month after revealing to Premier Dwight Ball that she had been served with a police warrant.
The alleged leak took place between June 1st of 2018 and March 12th of this year.
Gambin-Walsh is staying on in the Liberal caucus in her role as MHA for Placentia-St. Mary’s.
