A driver in Mount Pearl was clocked last night at twice the speed limit.
RNC noticed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the city at around 10:30 p.m.
As a result, the driver was issued a ticket for driving more than 51 km/h over the posted speed limit and had their vehicle impounded.
This comes following reports that 26 speed-related tickets were issued to drivers during a joint initiative between the RNC and RCMP over the weekend.
