A 40-year-old Stephenville man is being held in custody on charges related to a recent pharmacy break-in earlier this week.
RCMP say the alarm at Ben’s Pharmasave on Main Street in Stephenville was triggered when someone gained entry to the building around 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
Surveillance video led police to a suspect who they say returned to the site later that same morning. He allegedly resisted officers during the arrest and was taken into custody.
The accused is being held in custody pending a court appearance May 14th on charges of break and enter, resisting arrest, possession of break-in tools and breaches of court orders.
