Public health officials are monitoring the incidence of COVID-19 nationally and globally as the province has effectively flattened the curve.
Another day with no new reports of COVID-19 leaves Newfoundland and Labrador with 12 active cases, and Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald indicates they want to keep it that way.
No new cases have been reported in the province since Thursday. A total of 261 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in this province, with 247 now recovered.
Three people have died.
