Police on the west coast seized a vehicle late last night that had not been registered for the past eight years.

The RNC stopped the car just after 10:00 in the area of the North Shore Highway and found that it had not been registered since 2012. A 20-year-old man from Corner Brook was also ticketed for having no insurance or driver’s licence and operating a vehicle with a cracked windshield.

Police also found the stickers attached to the licence plate to have been stolen. The accused was charged for possession of stolen property and having an outstanding warrant against him.
