Almost $70,000 is being put up for the second phase of ArtSupport NL – a program which began in March to provide professional fundraising training to arts-based organizations.

Ten local organizations completed the training with groundwork to begin fundraising.

The minister responsible for the arts, Bernard Davis, says the second phase will offer those organizations to keep building on and expanding their education. It will also include an additional 24 arts organizations.

He says it is a program to help organizations diversify their revenue base.
