The food fishery for this summer is still up in the air at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the Premier says the decision will be one of the federal government.
Premier Dwight Ball says it’s a big decision but he certainly hopes it can go ahead.
He says any food fishery that would go ahead in Newfoundland and Labrador would have to be done in a safe manner.
Many look forward to it, including the Premier, but he says they’re still waiting on a decision.
