The Registered Nurses’ Union has reached a tentative agreement with the provincial government to extend its current collective agreement to June 30, 2022.
The agreement includes a salary increase and what government calls “a reduction of long-term financial liabilities through changes to post-employment benefits for new employees.”
The tentative agreement has yet to be ratified by RNU members.
The provincial government says specific details on the changes will be released once the agreement is ratified.
