The capital city is inviting public feedback on sidewalk snow clearing.
2020 was a tough winter for pedestrians on the north east Avalon. Snowmageddon dumped record amounts of snow on the area, forcing pedestrians onto busy roadways in many areas once the State of Emergency was finally lifted.
The city has launched an online engagement process that includes information on current sidewalk snow clearing operations and priorities.
Virtual meetings are scheduled, and city officials will also meet with representatives of the English School District, Metrobus and the business community.
The dates for the virtual meetings are:
