The provincial legislature reopens tomorrow for its spring sitting, which was interrupted by the global pandemic.
Things will look very different when the House opens, with seats on the floor of the legislature spread out to ensure physical distancing between members.
Premier Dwight Ball indicates it will be a busy time.
Some civil servants will also begin trickling back this week, with those whose productivity was not affected by working from home being the last to return.
Premier Ball says while many government employees have been working from home, others have maintained work on the job site throughout the pandemic. Among others, that includes the RNC, workers at Her Majesty’s Penitentiary, Transportation and Works, and Service NL.
Services not previously available through Service NL will resume in phases with the opening of eleven full-time government service centres starting June 10 by appointment only.
