The Town of Channel-Port Aux Basques is advising its residents that water will be shut off in the town overnight.
A leak in the main transmission line leading out of the water treatment plant has services shut down.
The town is waiting for crews to arrive to make repairs.
A boil order will be in effect when services come back on as per Service NL guidelines.
