A dirt bike has been impounded and a 16-year-old ticketed for pulling stunts on the machine on Main Street In Sandringham, Wednesday afternoon.

Glovertown RCMP patrolled the Eastport Peninsula in an unmarked car after receiving a number of complaints regarding the dangerous use of ATVs and dirt bikes on the road.

Police observed a dirt bike passing drivers on the right-hand side and popping wheelies. Police officers ticketed the teenage operator for stunting when he pulled into an area gas station.

The bike was seized and impounded.
