Corner Brook Fire Department has received a new custom-built fire truck.
The truck—a Typhoon model—was assembled in New York, supplied by Quebec, and has a price tag of just over $732,000.
The CBFD had special input into the design of the truck and opted for a stainless steel chassis to avoid winter corrosion, 30-gallon foam system, and even a remote-controlled rooftop water gun.
Due to COVID-19, the city has created a virtual tour of the new truck as they are unable to hold any in-person viewings.
