There is still no firm date on when Newfoundland and Labrador will be opening up to the Atlantic Provinces.
That from Premier Dwight Ball who says there is still more work to be done with public health officials before that happens.
New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs says he expects travel restrictions to be relaxed early next month.
Ball says the goal of the Atlantic Bubble is to have people moving freely between the four provinces without having to self-isolate for the 14-day period that is currently required.
He says businesses in the tourism industry and small communities will need more time to prepare for the influx of visitors.
The province is on track to move to Alert Level 2 this Thursday. Ball says that the province has come a long way and that many are ready to move about more freely. He adds that every decision is made with the safety of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians in mind.
