The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is warning the pubic of a CRA scam currently in circulation.
According to police, scammers are calling from local numbers and demanding payment over the phone, posing as the CRA.
The RNC is reminding people that a legitimate worker with the agency would not be demanding or aggressive.
Police are asking the public to report this type of scam to their nearest police agency, and they are reminding people never to call the numbers back.
