A heavy-footed driver found themselves in trouble with the law on Friday, after police in Corner Brook caught him speeding on the Trans Canada Highway.
Around 11 a.m., the RNC clocked a 33-year-old Grand Falls-Windsor man at 145 km/h in the 100 km/h zone.
As a result, the man was charged with speeding in excess of 31 km/h over the posted speed limit and driving while suspended.
His licence was suspended and his vehicle was impounded.
He will appear in court at a later date.
