Craigmillar Avenue is now open to traffic but the investigation continues into what police are calling a suspicious death.
RNC Media Relations Officer James Cadigan says they located a man who was deceased around 4 a.m.

He says the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is currently working to determine the cause of death.
Earlier, police issued a warning for residents to shelter in place due to a developing situation.
The RNC are asking people for CCTV or dash cam footage in the area prior to their arrival.
Those with information are asked to call the RNC at 729-8000, or Crimestoppers at 1-888-222-8477 (TIPS).

Police, responding to incoming calls at about 4 a.m., located a man who was deceased.

Investigators are working with the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death. Operational Patrol Services and Forensic Identification will remain in the area to secure the scene and canvass the neighborhood.
