Months after a cell phone tower toppled in the capital city’s west end, area residents may soon get back to full cell service.
The tower collapsed on a clear, calm evening in late February, causing damage to a nearby commercial building.
Since then, area residents have experienced spotty and unreliable cell service as officials worked to rebuild the tower.
Construction is now complete, and Bell Aliant officials tell VOCM News final testing is underway.
They expect the tower to be in full service in the next few days.
