Nobody wanted a repeat of last weekend when thousands of residents of the capital city headed to George street to drink, party and even dance despite warnings to socially distance.
Images were shared widely on social media and prompted a swift response and the development of stricter public health and enforcement measures.
Don-E Coady, Marketing and Communications Lead for the George Street Association, says they are pleased with how the weekend went.
He says a lot of the members are feeling good today based on the positive reports they received.
Coady says if people are feeling uneasy after the previous events, he reassures that they will continue to work with everyone to have a safe and social summer.
