Memorial University President Vianne Timmons is hitting the road to visit communities and learn more about how the university can better serve the province.
Timmons, who was raised in Labrador West, will be on the road for three weeks.
Timmons took over the role as President of MUN at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. To now, her ability to network with others has been limited to the online realm, but she’s looking forward to face-to-face meetings.
Tomorrow she is heading to Grenfell Campus and then the Labrador Institute in her home town of Labrador City.
If you see @vianne_timmons on your #StaycationNL, say hello! She is travelling our beautiful province to meet the people of Newfoundland and Labrador, learn more about Memorial’s impact and find out what’s working and how we can improve. https://t.co/mevqfwHPOe
