A pill press, the first of its kind in Newfoundland and Labrador, was among the millions of dollars of illicit drugs and items seized by police on June 30.
RNC Superintendent Tom Warren says the seizure of the pill press was significant. It can produce up to 20,000 pills an hour.

Warren says the seizure prevents the manufacturing of pills in the Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as in Nova Scotia.
The RNC believes that the pills manufactured by the press were produced and sold in the province.
