A cabin was destroyed by fire on Broad Lake in Bellevue on Sunday afternoon.
When crews with the Thornlea Bellevue and Bellevue Beach Fire Departments responded, the cabin was fully engulfed in flames.
Fire Chief Curtis Branton says their biggest challenge was getting water to the scene.
At around 12:30 p.m., the crew called for assistance from the Norman’s Cove-Long Cove Fire Department.
The main road in Bellevue was closed for several hours as they tackled the blaze, but has since reopened.
Chief Branton says nobody was in the cabin at the time of the blaze, and there were no injuries.
