St. John’s Regional Fire Department responded to a blaze at a recycling depot in Metro this afternoon.
Black smoke could be seen coming from a vehicle in the metal yard on East White Hills Road around 2 p.m.
SJRFD say they had it under control in a short period of time.
Traffic flow was not affected.
A fire broke out at a garage in the same area two weeks ago. That fire was resolved quickly as well.
