RCMP say a massive scrapyard fire that caused anxious moments in Burin on Thursday is not considered to be suspicious.
Businesses and nearby homes were temporarily evacuated because of the severity of the fire, and huge billowing plumes of toxic smoke.
The blaze was quickly contained thanks to the efforts of four local fire departments, provincial fire services, and a water bomber.
There were no injuries, and damage was limited to the scrap yard.
