The NLTA has presented it’s Safe Return to School Petition to opposition members Craig Pardy and Jim Dinn.
The petition, calling for a review of the teacher allocation model, gained over 12,000 signatures.
NLTA President Dean Ingram says while they’re pleased with the new tone set by Premier Furey and Minister Tom Osborne, they remain hopeful that government takes steps to ensure their schools are safe for students and teachers alike.
