Aberdeen Avenue was closed to traffic last night as crews battled a fire near the propane tanks at the old Costco.
Flames could be seen flying from a small fenced in area in the abandoned parking lot.
St. John’s Regional Fire Department responded to the call around 7:40 p.m.
Crews had the scene under control by around 9 p.m.
SJRFD and RNC have the road barricaded off.
