Mayor Grant White calls it the most photographed building in the town. It was a popular location for wedding photographs and tourists alike.
White calls the loss “devastating” for the town.
A probe into the cause of the blaze is now in the hands of fire investigators.
The historic town has seen over a dozen suspicious fires in recent months, but there’s no word on whether or not the latest fire is suspicious in nature or connected in any way to those incidents.
