An outspoken blogger and Muskrat Falls watcher says the public should be wary of new timelines for completion of the $13-billion project.
Des Sullivan says Muskrat Falls is being guided today by many of the same people who’ve been there since 2012 and amid all the problems and delays to date.
Sullivan says people have good reason to be skeptical of CEO Stan Marshall’s assertion that it will come online in a year’s time.
He says it’s troubling that General Electric is still five years behind in the delivery of critical software, and that the PUB’s own experts, Liberty Consulting, have no access to Nalcor’s work on the project.
Sullivan states people shouldn’t be relying solely on Marshall’s words.
